Dana Washington
Dana Washington (b. 1985) is an artist working in film, video, photography, audio, text, and installation. She examines representations of blackness, gender, culture, memory, and personal history. washington received her Bachelor in English from California State University, Long Beach (2016) & will receive a Master of Fine Art in Visual Arts from the University of California, San Diego (2020). She has been included in exhibitions, film screenings, conferences, and publicationssuch as the San Diego Art Institute, Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, OUTFEST Fusion, College Art Association Conference, and L.A. RECORD Magazine.
